Did you know that women in countries that are not America also have babies? We’ve never actually seen it happen, but news reports confirm that babies and, indeed, people are congregating all over the planet and living strange, foreign lives we can barely imagine! So on this most patriotic of American holidays, we invite you to put down your barbecue tongs and your weak, domestic beer and take a moment to consider what it’s like for foreigners to give birth to non-American children!

Dr. Bradley and I want to apologize for the extended period of non-updating we’ve been indulging in. We’ve been neck-deep in researching and writing our long-awaited  Let’s Panic! manuscript. Fortunately, a thoughtful commenter spurred us off the couch and made us realize that we were covered in corn chip dust and guacamole, and that we should update to tell you that. It’s a pretty picture, no?

So fear not, panickers! Once we get this baby out the door we’re going to start updating LIKE MAD. We’re going to update so much you’ll cry and beg us to stop. Until then, please enjoy our archives and accept our sincere apologies.

November 21, 2009 Some More Excellent Parenting Advice

We at Let’s Panic! HQ have finally realized that many parents have children who are old enough to walk, talk, and have their own Facebook accounts, and that they have been sorely underserved by our fascinating Internet website. No more! We now have a revolutionary new Parenting subsection called “General Parenting Advice” and in it you will actually find painstakingly specific advice. It’s this sort of counterintuitive structuring that puts Let’s Panic! one step ahead of all those other websites written by people.

Our first exciting entry in this category is called An Exhaustive List of Many Things You Probably Shouldn’t Ever Say to Your Offsrping. Or something like that. That’s the basic gist of it. I don’t know.
